RE-Commit

As we enter the month of September, we are coming together in prayer with a renewed focus on RE-COMMITMENT.
This month, we are intentionally returning our hearts, our homes, and our lives fully to God.
Joshua 24:15 declares: “But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”
Throughout September, we will be praying together concerning:
Re-Commitment Through Denying Idols
Prayer Point: Father, reveal every idol that has competed for Your place in my heart. Help me identify anything that has gained more of my affection, attention, trust, or devotion than You. I recommit my time, talents, treasures, and relationships to You. May You be first in every area of my life, and may my household choose to serve You wholeheartedly.

Re-Commitment Through Denying Self
Prayer Point: Lord Jesus, I surrender my own plans, preferences, and desires that stand in opposition to Your will. Teach me to deny myself daily, take up my cross, and follow You with humility and obedience. Let my life reflect Your purposes rather than my own ambitions and strengthen my resolve to serve You faithfully.

Re-Commitment Through Breaking Ungodly Habits
Prayer Point: Father, expose every habit, mindset, and pattern that hinders my relationship with You. Grant me the discipline and power of the Holy Spirit to turn away from anything that weakens my walk with Christ. Create in me new habits that draw me closer to You through prayer, worship, obedience, and Your Word.

Prayer Point: Lord, renew my heart for the Vision of Harvest City Church. Rekindle my passion to love you, love your people, and love my community. Let me not grow weary in doing good but help me see people through Your eyes and partner with You in bringing many into Your family.

Re-Commitment to the Joy of Our Salvation
Prayer Point: Lord, restore to me the joy of Your salvation. Despite disappointments, challenges, and hardships, I say "Yes" to You again. Renew my gratitude, hope, and delight in serving You. Help me to rejoice in Your goodness, remember Your faithfulness, and follow You with a glad and willing heart.
